Worldterror is an indie fighting game set in a near-future world on the brink of apocalypse from a mysterious device only labeled by the masses as "The Collapser", seeming capable of destroying the Earth at any moment.

(Web version of the game isn't using the right physics engine, hitbox registration and other movement might be inaccurate compared to the downloaded version)

Controls:

  • A, S, D, and Spacebar: Movement
  • Hold backwards to block
  • U, I, O to attack (Standing U, I, O, Crouching U, Air U)
  • Double tap forwards or backwards on ground or in air to dash/airdash
  • On controller, press Start to make it visible on the controller select and move it to player 1 or 2 and press X on Xbox or Square on PS.
  • On keyboard in the character select, use A and D to move the keyboard and press U to confirm.

This is a VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY crude prototype of what I want to create and is not at all a representation of the final project, it will most likely feel and look completely different by the end of development. I'm abandoning this "prototype" to rewrite things and start work on the main game to ensure everything has a solid foundation and so I won't run into a wall and have to give up the project entirely because of a poor start. I'm putting this on itch because of this abandonment for a couple of my friends who were interested, but also for anyone who might stumble upon this. I plan to make this game an "anime fighter" with the ability to activate an install mode with every character (install = transformation, similar to something like super saiyan from Dragon Ball). This isn't entirely set in stone and there are other mechanics that I plan to add along with whatever changes I feel necessary, but I hope it becomes something I'm proud of. Lots of story, characters, lore, and design has been written for this game and I hope it all comes to life. Fighting games are difficult to make and I've never made a big project like this before so pray for me :)
